FAQ
Is it safe? Can it see my account or trades?
No. ChartMods only draws a background behind the chart. It never reads your symbols, watchlists, orders, positions or account, and it doesn't place trades. No account, no analytics, no trackers.
Will it mess up my TradingView layouts?
No. ChartMods never changes your TradingView settings, so your saved and synced layouts — including the phone app — look exactly the same. Turn it off and your chart is untouched.
Does it slow my chart down?
No. Every background draws in under a millisecond per frame and stops completely when the tab is hidden. You can also lock it to 30 fps or freeze motion.
Which browsers and platforms work?
TradingView in Chrome, Edge, Brave, Arc and Opera on Mac, Windows and Linux. A TradingView Desktop app is on the way.
